Last weekend I traveled to Corpus Christi to shoot Kasey & Doug’s wedding. It was my first time traveling to Corpus and it was really cool. Both my fiancee & I thought that Corpus was really similar to parts of San Diego. With the beach lifestyle, all the great seafood, & the hispanic influence, it really did seem like we were back in California. This portrait was taken just after the ceremony at the church. The church had this red chair that matched Kasey’s shoes & we had to use it.

This was a fun shoot! And Josh has the best name ever! Since I live & work just outside of downtown Dallas, I am always shooting around here. I’ve been exploring downtown for almost three years now and I still haven’t hit every street. The cool thing is that Dallas is not your typical busy downtown so there’s always places to photograph where there isn’t a lot of people around.

The Dallas Arboretum is a popular place and it never gets old. I love shooting here just so I can challenge myself to come alway with new & unique portraits. Nora & Will are the greatest couple and it was so fun to shoot this session. Nora’s yellow dress glowed in the sunlight and really made these images pop!
